Carol Axelrod, LICSW 
                                                               
Carol Axelrod, a Rasi Associate since 1989, has been a clinical social worker for more than twenty-five years. She is a career consultant, coach, and workshop developer specializing in early career development.

In addition to her work at GenNEXT Partners, Carol was a Career Counselor at Brandeis University's Hiatt Career Center from 2001 through 2004. She headed the career center at that univeristiy's  Graduate School of Arts and Sciences from 2002 through 2008. From 2008 through 2010 she was Director of the Access/Success Institute at Pine Manor College. Carol has a Masters’ of Social Work degree from Boston University and a BA from the University of Chicago.

Carol lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with her husband of more than thirty years. She chairs the Board of Trustees of the Brookline Public Library where she has served as an elected member since 2000 and is an Advisory Board member of Steps to Success, a local public schools program for low-income students in fourth through twelfth grades.

Carol and her husband have two grown sons who sometimes listen to their mother’s career advice.
